On Saturday, February 27, two teams traveled to Crosbyton for the UIL Region Solo and Ensemble Contest. Our clarinet quartet earned a Division 3 and our Flute Quartet earned a Division 1. The Flute Quartet, consisting of Anyssa Sanchez, Jody Briones, Alex De Los Santos, and Holley Monroe, will compete at the UIL State Solo and Ensemble Contest on May 29-31. Usually the contest is held in Pflugerville, TX, however this year due to COVID the contest has been changed to a virtual contest.  Wish them luck in their preparations for state contests!
