On Thursday, January 19, Floydada High School Band students traveled to Abernathy, TX for the ATSSB Region 16 All-Region Band Auditions. Five students made the band, and one student made alternate. We are EXTREMELY proud of their hard work and accomplishments. This was a very successful event for your Floydada band. The students who placed are: Ava Gonzales, Sierra Snowden (alto saxophone), Caydence Bailey (tenor saxophone), Noah Vega (tenor trombone), and Nicholas Garcia (bass trombone). Kylie Fipps (baritone saxophone) made alternate. Congratualtions to all the students who auditioned!

These students will participate in the All-Region weekend January 26-28 in Lubbock, TX. Concerts will occur at the Lubbock Civic Center on Saturday January 28. Concerts are free and open to the public.
