On Saturday, November 12th Floydada middle school students auditioned at Hale Center High School for the Middle School All-Region Honor Band. Ixan Pecina succeeded in making the Honor Band on Bb Clarinet.

On Saturday, December 3rd Floydada middle school students auditioned at Shallowater High School for the Middle School All-Region Symphonic Band and Concert Band. Raul Corado Vanegas succeeded in making the All-Region Concert Band on Bb Clarinet.

On Saturday, December 10th Floydada high school students auditioned at Levelland High School for the All-Region Honor Band. Lailah Burks made the band on Percussion and Omar Chavana made the band on Alto Clarinet. Omar will advance to Area auditions with a chance to make the ATSSB All-State Band on January 7.

There will be one more round of auditions on January 19 for the high school All-Region Symphonic Band and Concert Band. Those auditions will take place at Abernathy High School.

All students who have made the All-Region bands will rehearse for a few days in later January and deliver a series of exceptional concerts with the best players in the region at the Lubbock Civic Center on January 28. More details relating to the schedule of ensemble performances will be released here on the band website closer to the event. The concerts will be free and open to the public.
