What a GREAT day to be a Whirlwind!

Words cannot describe how successful the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Convention and Clinic week was in San Antonio. Ethan Jimenez was able to experience exceptional food, the Riverwalk, top-level sectionals with Association of Texas Small School Bands (ATSSB) staff and volunteers, artistically sensitive rehearsal with Dr. Caroline Beatty, Director of Bands and Professor of Music at Texas State University, and an absolutely PHENOMENAL concert of high-quality wind band literature. It was, without a doubt, the best ATSSB Concert Band concert I have ever witnessed. The students played a large amount of literature, and played it extremely well. It was a beautiful and harmonious experience.
