All-Region Band Auditions

On Thursday, January 16, 2020 fifteen students auditioned at Abernathy High School for the All-Region Band. Jody Briones (flute), Kaylea Britt (clarinet), Noah Vega (trombone), and Devin Reyes (percussion) made the band, and Siobhan Garza (clarinet) and Thomas Longoria (tuba) were alternates. The competition from others in the region was strong – we are very proud of their hard work and good fortune. The students will attend the All-Region weekend in Lubbock on January 23-25. Gooooooo Whirlwinds!
